TVs in Jayco 32ss

Hello All My rig has 2 flat screen TVs made by Westing House. Unless you are standing at eye level to the tv all you see is like a negetive type picture. So if you are sitting on the couch or laying in bed the TVs are usless. Does anybody else have this problem. Anybody have any ideas or solutions. Thanks Jack

RE: Frig

The experience I have had (maybe like yours) is that there is air in the propane lines that needs to be purged out before it will lite. If I just try to use the fridge after is has been off for a while, it will try to lite a few times then go into a failure mode. I usually light the stove first purging all the air out of the lines. Then I start the heater. After doing this the fridge will lite fairly easy. I hope this helps. Jack

RE: Kodiak canter console

Thank You Ronfisherman That looks very nice but I am looking for something smaller. Maybe just a bit bigger and more useful than the stock unit. Has anybody else changed theirs out. Thanks. Jack

RE: Another Jayco Recall - Greyhawk & Seneca LPG

Hello All I just called Jayco about my 32SS. The lady said my unit is on the recall list. She said the recall does not say anything about appliances in the slide-out. I hope this helps. Jack

RE: Kodiak won't start after fueling

Thanks for the replys. I don't think it is heat soak or anything like that. We have stopped and restarted many times and it always starts perfect. It seems to be with fueling. I have pulled the gas cap off without refueling to see what would happen and it started fine. The 2 times it would not start it acts like it would if you tried to start it in gear...turn the key and nothing... Jack

Kodiak won't start after fueling

Hello All My wife and I have been out on 2 trips now in our new 2008 Jayco Kodiak 32SS with the 8.1 chevy engine. We have stoped to fuel up on both trips. Both times after I fill the gas tank the rig will not start. It does not crank over, it does not even click, turn the key and nothing. After 20 minutes or so it will start as if nothing happened. Both times I thought I was going to have to call for a tow. I do not get it. Very frustrating. Does anybody have any ideas? I will take it in to have it checked but I want to give as much info as I can so I do not get the old "we could not find anything wrong. Thanks for your help. Jack

RE: Transmission temp gauge

The only time I ever seen it move is when I was towing 6500 pounds up the Grapevine near Southern Ca. At first I thought the same thing but it does work. I'll be replacing my transmission gauge with a aftermarket that starts at a 100 degrees instead of 160. There are a few Kodiak owners that I spoke to that highly recommended changing the transmission gauge. Do you know if they were able to hook up the aftermarket gauge to the existing wiring or did they install a new sending unit? Thanks for all the info. Jack

Transmission temp gauge

Hello All I have a 2008 Jayco 32ss on a kodiak chassis with the 8.1 engine. It has a transmission temp gauge in the middle of the dash. We have only made one trip in it so far but I am not getting any reading on the gauge. It's under warranty but the nearest shop is 1 1/2 hours away. Does anybody know how I can test the input wires to see if it is getting a signal. Thanks for your help. Jack Also, has anybody traded this gauge out with a more visable (maybe autometer)gauge with a 270 degree sweep.

The book for the radio expalins how to tune it to Sirius but I can not get the radio I.D. to subsribe. Does anybody know if this radio is all set to go to get Sirius or do I need to add something to the system. Thanks for your help. Jack
